I’ve been

there too.

I knew something was up after I had kids.

The amount of times that I forgot the diapers, wipes or their hats was almost comical (my husband didn’t find it funny the 55th time).

My inability to remember daily, routine chores like laundry and sweeping the floor was shocking. Not knowing why I was this way caused a lot of tension but my diagnosis helped explain a lot.

After starting grad school I also noticed that I LITERALLY could not start a paper until 2 days before it was due.

Turns out when I added kids and grad school to my schedule all of my coping mechanisms crumbled.

Looking back now, it’s pretty clear I had ADHD.

In hindsight it’s probably obvious for yourself too.

The thing I didn’t realize until learning about ADHD as a therapist, is that ADHD can affect a lot more than just memory and attention span.

Dealing with mental health looks different for those with ADHD, and that’s why I’m here:

To help you maneuver and make your life work with ADHD (this includes celebrating the superpowers that come with it!)
